son of Peter L. and Susan (Mishler) Weirich, was born at Mylo, N.Dak., Feb. 23, 1907; died on Oct. 6, 1988; aged 81 y. On July 5, 1937, he was married to Ruth Troyer, who died on Nov. 8, 1978. Surviving are one son (Peter T.), one sister (Sylvia Stoll), and one brother (Chester T.). He was ordained to the ministry and served the following congregations: at Beaverdam, Corry, Pa.; Maple Grove, Bellville, Pa.; First Mennonite, Colorado Springs, Colo. (1957 - 1961); Glenwood Springs, Colo. (1961 - 1963); and Bethel, Albuquerque, N.Mex. Services were held on Oct. 10, in charge of Sam Avritt and Sam Sawyer; interment in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

WEIRICH-Jacob F. Weirich, 81, a resident of Albuquerque for 25 years died Thursday. He is survived by his son, Peter T. Weirich and wife, Gera of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Jessica Weirich of Albuquerque; brother, Chester T. Weirich of Kearney, NJ; sister, Sylvia Stoll of Rugby, ND; and Betty Wood of Albuquerque. Mr. Weirich was preceded in death by his first wife Ruth Weirich in 1978. He was ordained to the ministry in 1944. He served in pastorates in Pennsylvania, Colorado, and in Albuquerque at the First Mennonite Church from 1963 until 1970. Mr. Weirich was very active in the carpentry trade for many years. He was a past member of the Local Ministerial Alliance, and the Lions Club. Mr. Weirch was the owner of Weirich's-Shaklee Center for many years. Services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at French Mortuary, University Blvd Chapel, 1111 University Blvd NE, with Rev. Sam Sawyer and Rev. Sam Avritt officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Frank Horst, Bill Jiminez, Dennis Romero, Roy Wingerd, Roberto Martinez, Thomas Michaels, and Peter T. Weirich. Friends may visit French Mortuary Sunday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
