Gloria Jean Hall, 65, Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at her residence.

Jean was born in Morgantown on August 20, 1949, the daughter of the late Michael and Helen Evanto Toth.

Jean was a member of the St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Sabraton and was a graduate of the St. Francis High School in Morgantown. She loved walking 4.5 miles every day, spending time with family and friends and taking care of children. She retired as a nurse from Mon General Hospital and from working for ten years in Dr. Ghosal’s office.

Jean is survived by her children, Pamela McClain and her husband George and Gary Allen Hall; stepchildren, George Edward Hall and his wife Michelle and Terri Rehmani and her husband Nick; grandchildren, George E. McClain and his wife Angela and Calvin McClain; step grandchildren, Valarie Nicholson and her husband Robert, Randy Hamrick, and Amy Dalton and her husband Ralph; great grandchildren, Erica Nicholson, with whom she was very close and Josh Nicholson, Kynley Dalton, and Kaiden Dalton; brother, Richard Toth and his wife Rachel; sister, Sandra Brown and her husband Kurt. She is also survived by her mother in law, Alberta Snider and fiancé, Jerry McLean.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, George Hall and former fiancé, Richard Snider, and brother, Gary A. Toth. Her brother, Michael Toth, passed away just a few hours after her on Christmas morning.

Friends and family will be received at the Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Monday from 3-5 & 7-9. The Parastas Service will be recited at 8:30 PM Monday in the funeral home to conclude the evening visitation. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 10-11 AM. A combined Parastas service will be held in conjunction with her brother’s service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday with the celebrant of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church of the Holy Protection, Father Michael J. Huszti officiating. Interment will follow at the East Oak Grove Cemetery.
