My great great Grandmother

one of her and Benjamin's sons was my great grandfather Royal Edward Riley Plunkett

Eliza was the daughter of Ezra T. Cone and Hannah Knowles

Ezra her father
Around 1810 came from Vermont with ox-teams, three wagons with two yoke of oxen to each wagon, and settled on the "Holland Purchase", in what is now Orleans Co., NY. In Summer of 1818 he started with his family of wife and one child for Wayne Co., OH. Here he remained for two years. The Western Fever still had hold of him, and induced him in 1820 to move to Sangamon Co., IL, the then outpost of civilization where he died

1st to Benjamin Houston Plunkett April 13, 1850 and
2nd to William Thomas Hobbs Dec 20, 1870

Benjamin is buried in Richland Baptist Cemetery , Sangamon Co., IL.
Wm Thomas Hobbs is buried Turner- Wilcox Cemetery, Menard Co., IL.
