Ralph was the son of Joseph Adolphus & Ida Ellen Jester Parr. He married Mary Dorothy Smith, 20 Jun 1933, Jackson County, Missouri. They had three children:

Anita Elizabeth Parr Seibolt 1937-2021
Kenneth Joseph Parr 1941-1963

Ralph Parr, 66, of 4407 Genesee, a detective with the Kansas City police department for 30 years, died yesterday at St. Mary's hospital.

He was born in Tower Hill, Ill., and had lived here 50 years. After his retirement from the police department in 1962, he was a Jackson County deputy sheriff from 1962 until 1966 and, until his death, was a guard at the Central bank, 3030 Truman road.

He was a member of the Police Benefit association.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary D. Parr, a son, Ralph Edward Parry, both of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Anita Seibolt, 801 East 117th; a sister, Mrs. Eura Tucker, Diamond, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 o'clock Tuesday at the McGilley Midtown chapel; burial in Mount Olivet cemetery. A rosary will be said at 8 o'clock Monday night at the chapel, where friends may call after 2 o'clock Monday.
