John Figueiredo, 65, of 8 Asylum Rd., a dyemaker for the American Insulation Corp., Pawtucket, for 15 years before retiring in 1978 due to a disability, died Saturday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Ann M (Cabral) Figueiredo.
Born in Warren, he was a son of the late Jose and Rose L. (Furtado) Figueiredo.
Mr. Figueiredo was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. He was a member of the Holy Ghost Society, Swansea.
Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Annmarie Johnson of Warren and Roxanne Dupre of Swansea; a brother, Joseph C. Figueiredo of Warren; five sisters, Mary Tupaj of Benicia, Calif., Madeline Wright of Davis, Calif., Rose Souza of Swansea, Lorraine Gardner of Warren, Ann F. Furtado of Bristol, and two grandsons.
A funeral Mass will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Metacom Avenue. Burial will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery.
