George M Bricker died at his home on Parsonage St at 8:40 o'clock on Friday morning, Feb 13, aged 62 years. He was a son of the late Captain John Bricker and was born and raised in this town. He learned the trade of cabinet maker with his father and was a skilled craftsman. He is survived by his wife Virginia and four children. Mrs. Grace Hurley of Dauphin, Blythe, Frank and George of Altoona. Also one sister survives, Mrs. Minerva Forbes of Lock Haven. His remains were interred in the Prospect Hill Cemetery east of town Monday at 2 PM. Services were conducted at the St. Paul Lutheran Church by Pastor J.J. Kerr.

Some of the out of town funeral attendents were Mr.& Mrs. George Woodburn Dunlap and son Daniel, Mrs. Mamie Kennedy, Mr.& Mrs. Blythe Bricker, Mr. Frank Bricker, Mr. & Mrs. George Bricker and two children.
