Ada B. Justen (nee Murray), age 86 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away January 16, 2004 at EMH ICU following a year long illness.

She was born November 3, 1917 in Amherst where she was raised, attended school and resided all of her life.
Ada was a member of the Amherst Congregational Church of Christ and was currently attending the First Congregational Church of Lorain. She enjoyed antiques, bird watching, gardening, and china painting.

Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Dallas Justen, sons Jack Jackson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Dennis Jackson of Oberlin, Ohio, daughter Carole Tucker of Berlin Heights, Ohio, stepson Kent Justen of LaGrange, Ohio, eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, and sister Beverly Leonard of South Amherst, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Clinton Jackson, for whom she was married to for over fifty years, brothers Jack and infant Thomas, sisters Pearl Buell, Jane Miller, and Patricia Lunn, and parents John B. and Maude (nee Plato).

Friends may call Tuesday, January 20, 2004 from 4-6 at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Attila Szemes, pastor of Amherst Congregational United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, in South Amherst, Ohio
