Ms. Corine Mann, age 81 of Macclenny, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017. Born in Alachua County to the late Ralph and Lillie Mae Garret Sparkman, Ms. Mann was a longtime Baker County resident. Ms. Mann was employed by the King Edward Cigar Factory in Jacksonville for many years. She also attended beauty school in Jacksonville and was a beautician in Macclenny for a time. Once she started a family, she was a stay at home mother who enjoyed gardening, canning food, cooking, and going to the beach. After raising her family, she was employed in the shipping department for men's suits at Macclenny Products until her retirement. She will be remembered as a compassionate woman who loved her family. She is survived by her son: Marcus E. (Lou Ann) Mann of Macclenny; daughters: Judy Ann (Wally) Pearson of Fort Myers, Florida and Virginia Lee Smith Barton of Macclenny; grandchildren: Stephanie Beard, Tyler Beard, Amanda (Jimmy) Nickels, Jennifer (Jason) Walker, Dillon G. Mann, Tiffany Smith, Austin Smith, Justin Smith, and Morgan Smith; great grandchildren: Stacie Moring, Anistyn Stock, Jake S. Walker, Emma Mann, Paisley Smith, and Houston Smith; and one great, great grandchild: Tayten Tyler. She was preceded in death by her husband: Eugene Talmadge Mann; parents: Ralph and Lillie Sparkman; grandparents: George and Sarah Garret; brothers: J. W. Sparkman and Ralph Franklin Jr.; and sister: Annie Mae Barton. Funeral services will be held 3:00pm, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, with Pastor David Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.
