Mary R. Anderson, 93, 204 N. Maple St. died at 8:55 a.m. Thursday at a Joplin nursing home where she had lived since January.

Mrs. Anderson was born Feb. 15, 1894 in Coffeyville, Kan. She moved to Carthage in 1923 from Burns, Kan. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Carthage.

She married F. Marion Anderson on Aug. 30, 1910 in Vinita, Okla. He died Jan. 14, 1958.

Survivors include one daughter, Bertha Bogue of the home; three sons, Raymond Anderson, Kelso, Wash., Howard Anderson, Independence, and Ralph Anderson, Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Mary Stipp, Apple Valley, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be announced by the Knell Mortuary, Carthage.

Graveside services for Mary R. Anderson, 93, 204 N. Maple St. who died 8:55 a.m. Thursday at a Joplin nursing home, where she had lived since January, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Park Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmie Hinson will officiate.

Friends of the family may visit from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Knell Mortuary.
