Mrs. Emma Ayres Harden, mother-in-law of Mr. John R. Bland, president of the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mr. Bland, near Catonsville. She was 72 years old.
Mrs. Harden was the daughter of the late Jacob and Sidonia Ayres and the widow of John S. Harden. The funeral will take place from the chapel in Greenmount Cemetery this afternoon.
