NEWVILLE – J. Dale Stitt, 78, of RD2, died Monday at Stitt's garage and Mobile Station, which he owned.
He received a Mobile Company Award for more than 18 years of business there.
He is survived by his wife, Lula McKeehan Stitt; a daughter, Shirley Hoover, RD2; two brothers, W. Paul Stitt, Sr., RD7 Carlisle; a sister, Grace Stitt, Quincy; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Fogelsanger Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg. The Rev. Ralph L. Heagy will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday after 7 p.m.
