Rose had worked at Borg Warner before her retirement. After that, she spent a lot of time at her cabin at Lake Camelot in Nekoosa, Wisconsin where she enjoyed snowmobiling and being out in the lake on her pontoon boat. She also liked Cadillacs, Wheel of Fortune, westerns, and miniature poodles.
When Rose got too old to live at home, she moved in with her daughter Carolyn in Goshen, Indiana where she cared for her until her death. She died with her loving and caring son, Craig by her side.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, all of her brothers and sisters and son-in-law, John. She is survived by sons Fred (Li) Schlottman, Dwight (Sue) Schlottman, Craig (Linda) Schlottman, daughter Carolyn Hoffman and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her dog, GiGi.
