Diana was the wife of John L. Wilson. They were married on December 8, 1858 in South Fork, Delaware County, Iowa. She was the mother of eleven children with John including: Alice, Ella, Kizziah "Lou," Charles, George and Olive Wilson. John died sometime between 1895 and 1900. He last appears with Diana on the 1895 census in Boone County, Iowa. Diana was the daughter of Charles Hardesty and Jane (McVay) Hardesty. She died of chronic nephritis and "la grippe" at age 70.
