Jimmie Johnson, age 74, of Hi Hat, KY, husband of Nora L Newsome Johnson, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in the VA Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born April 10, 1943 a son of the late Charlie Johnson and Nellie Bryant Davis. He attended Pine Grove Baptist Church, was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired truck driver.

In addition to his wife Nora, he is survived by one son: Chris Johnson, Buffalo, NY; one step son: Jeffrey Newsome, Martin, KY, one daughter: Jacquline Johnston, Buffalo, NY and one step daughter:Teresa (Marty) Johnson, Drift, KY, one brother; Carl Gene Johnson, TN and one sister; Mary Sue King, IN, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; David Johnson and Marvin Bryant and one sister; Thelma Lou Little.

Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, February 18 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Jett officiating. Burial will follow in the Newman Cemetery, Hi Hat, KY.
