RICHMOND, Ind. Frederick J. Bolle, age 90, of Richmond, Indiana, and Fort Myers, Florida, died Monday, April 2, 2018.
Born November 10, 1927, in Maplewood, Illinois, to Frederick William Lee and Loretta Frances Jerome Bolle, Fred moved to Richmond in 1958 from Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis and was a 1953 graduate of the University of Dayton. Fred served in the U.S. Naval Reserve. He retired from Lilly Industrial Coatings, Inc. in 1990, as a National Sales Manager for Computer Finishes, after 30 years of service. Fred was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Richmond and New Hope Presbyterian Church in Fort Myers. He was a member of Heritage Palms Country Club in Fort Myers, as well as Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond. Fred was a former Ys Mens Club member in Richmond and Boy Scout leader in Dayton. He enjoyed attending church, spending time with his family, as well as golfing.
Survivors include his daughters, Janet L. (Bob) Bolle Carl of Union, Kentucky, and Karen L. (Rich) Bolle Wyderski of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; sons, Christopher J. (Alice) Bolle of Greenville, South Carolina, and Gregory J. (Karen) Bolle of Richmond; grandchildren, Jamison and Nicholas Bolle, Alexandra and Joshua Carl, Amy (Gregg) Wright, Paula Cathey, and Roxanne (Scott) Walls; great-grandchildren, Zakary Watt, Cameron and Wesley Wright, Cayden Gunter, and Addison Wren Wallace; brother, Donald (Wanda) Bolle of Florida; niece, Brenda (Marty) Carothers; nephew, Rick (Alinda) Bolle; and many friends, including special friend, Martha Frieberger.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lou Jamison Bolle, who died November 9, 1990; second wife, Betty Ann Ball Bolle, who died March 2, 2014; and parents.
Visitation for Frederick J. Bolle will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018, in the Community Room at Friends Fellowship Community, 2030 Chester Boulevard, Richmond with Rev. Charlie Black officiating. Private entombment will be in the Earlham Memorial Mausoleum.
