Alda was the daughter of Gavinus & Alda (Bennett) McRoberts. She married James Cyrus Flett (bur: Walker Cem.) on 12 Apr 1914, and they had 6 children: Dean-(infant daughter), Alda Maxine-(Mrs. Ladd Schwegman), Ellen Lucille-(Mrs. Ray Horsman), Eileen Faye-(Mrs. Harold Hard), Jeanne-(Mrs. Ben Pickett), and Robert Glenn. Alda's husband, James C. Flett was married before, in 1896, to Emma Lake Dilworth, and they had 4 children; Emma died in 1907 and is bur. in Walker Cem. with James C. Flett. Alda became the step-mother to these first 4 children: C. Craig, Carl, Abbie, & Ben Atkin.
