Doris Jean (Nichols) Craig Osborn passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Integris Medical Center in Miami, OK, surrounded by her family and beloved friends. She was 87.

Jean was born in Mexico, MO on June 8, 1930 to R.C. and Margaret Nichols. She attended Miami Public Schools and graduated in 1948 from Miami High School. She was a lifelong resident of Miami. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church for more than 80 years.

Jean married Ed Craig on March 11, 1949. They owned and operated Ed Craig Photography for many years. They worked side by side until his illness and death in 1996. Jean married Sherman Osborn on May 12, 2004.

Jean was preceded in death by husband Ed, her husband Sherman her parents, her four sisters Helen, Mary Martha and Margaret and a beloved daughter – in – law Jerilyn Craig.
Jean is survived by one son Rick Craig and wife Martha, one daughter Carole Harrington and husband Keith, one step son Bo Osborn and wife Sheila and six grandchildren Jason Ashman, Whitney Schroeder and husband Mike, Corie Wells and husband John, Gabe Craig, Matthew Osborn and Cady Whaley and husband Michael and 11 great grandchildren and lifelong friends Dora Lou Reavis and Jan Follis.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the First united Methodist Church in Miami, OK. Rev. Mark Rickman and Rev. Taud Boatman will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Jason Ashman, Gabe Craig, John Wells, Mike Schroeder, Michael Whaley and Danny Garner will service as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
