The Burlingame, KS, Enterprise on Thurs Dec 18, 1913 -
The remains of Mrs. D.R. Kilbourne who died at Los Angeles on Dec 11th, arrived for interment on Tuesday of this week, accompanied by her husband and youngest son, Dresden. Mrs. Kilbourne was very well known here in former years, having lived many years on the farm of evergreens adjoining the Superior school house on the north. The family left for Cucamonga, CA, about 16 yrs ago. The deceased was 63yrs of age and is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs Gertrude Waddle of Los Angeles and 3 sons, Charles, Floyd and Dresden, all of CA. A short burial service conducted by Rev. Pulliam was held at the cemetery Tuesday afternoon.
