Mrs. Kimberly G. Byars, age 57, of Murray, Kentucky died on Wednesday, May 02, 2018 at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Byars was born on May 22, 1960 in Paducah, Kentucky to the late Jewell Gilliam and Charlotte (Brown) Gilliam. Mrs. Byars attained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Murray State University and was a registered Nurse for 36 years. She was also a Nurse Practitioner for 20 years working at Primary Care and Byars Family Quick care. She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and a member of the St. Leo's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband Bud Byars of Murray, Kentucky to whom were married on May 9, 1980 in Fulton, Kentucky; one son, Chris Byars and wife Susan of Murray, Kentucky; as well as two grandchildren, Lincoln and Carstyn Byars both of Murray, Kentucky.

A private graveside service will be held. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
