Loro Beth Johnson, age 92, of Salisbury, died Friday, June 29, 2018.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 2, at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, where visitation begins at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery, south of Keytesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Asbury Cemetery Association.
Loro Beth is survived by a son, Gerald Johnson, of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Edward Holt and Agnes (Sawyers) Crowley; husband, George T. Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Dr. Lawrence Epple; and brothers, Benjamin Crowely and Samuel Crowely.

Loro Beth was born February 16, 1926 in St. Joseph, MO the daughter of Samuel Edward Holt and Agnes (Sawyers) Crowley. She married George T. Johnson on April 17, 1948 in St. Joseph, MO and he preceded her in death on February 26, 2003.
Loro Beth was a graduate of Savannah High School, and received a BS in Child Development from the University Of Missouri. She was St. Joseph Apple Blossom Queen in 1941 and was MU Homecoming Queen. Loro Beth was one of the original employee's of the Head Start, working various positions and was Director of Education. She was a member of the Salisbury First Christian Church, DAR, PEO, Chapter BD, and the Missouri Alumni Association.
Loro Beth is survived by a son Gerald Johnson of Columbia, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter & son in law Nancy and Dr. Lawrence Epple, brothers Benjamin Crowely, and Samuel Crowely.
