Mary F. Bowman Abrams, age 74, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018, in Georgetown, Kentucky. She was born on August 8, 1943, in Jackson County, Kentucky, to the late Arnold and Esther Lamb Bowman. She was a member of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church and a retired Central Baptist Hospital housekeeping supervisor.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by: her husband, Leonard Abrams; and two brothers, Jesse Bowman and Vernon Bowman. She is survived by: her son, Doug (Karen) Abrams; a daughter, Deborah (Greg) Mueller; two brothers, Ronald (Sheila) Bowman and Michael (Wilhelmina) Bowman; four sisters, Helen Davidson, Carolyn Clark, Arlene (Frankie) Anderkin and Virginia (Kenneth) Carroll; five grandchildren, Eric (Erin) Mueller, Beth Mueller, David Mueller, Haley Abrams and Sydney Abrams; one great-grandson, Luke Mueller; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Tester and Mary Abrams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 Lakes Funeral Home, with Pastor Doug Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes, Abrams and Brumagen Cemetery, in Jackson County. Visitation will be Friday from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to: Bluegrass Hospice Care, 1317 US Highway 62 E, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031; or Lexington Humane Society.
