Norman Allen beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Pasadena, Texas.

Funeral Service was Monday, July 30, 2018 at North Side Baptist Church, 910 North Main St., Weatherford, Texas with interment at IOOF Cemetery, Monett, Missouri.

Norman was born June 25, 1933 in Morris, Oklahoma, son of Benjamin R. and Ada Jones Allen. He graduated from Daniel Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was a varsity athlete as part of the football, basketball and wrestling teams. Norman proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. He loved singing in the choir, being a Greeter at North Side Baptist and serving as a Deacon. Norman faithfully worshipped at many churches over the years, including North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford, Phoenix Avenue Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, First Baptist Church of Snyder, Texas, and First Southern Baptist Church in Liberal, Kansas. He truly loved his Lord and also adored his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Norman was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Wanda Jo Cramer Allen; and his parents, Ben and Adda Allen.
Survivors: Daughters, Kathy Thiessen and husband, Mark, and Julie Farm and husband, Isaac; Grandchildren, Chad Thiessen, Cassie Thiessen Powers and husband, Ross, Cody Lacy, and Cory Lacy; brothers and sisters, LaVaughn Allen Ross, Benny Allen and wife, Marsha, and Rebecca McManus and husband, Charles; and a host of other family members, church family and friends.
