Charlene J. Lowery, 73, of Janesville, WI, died Monday, August 6, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family.She was born September 18, 1944 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of William and Evelyn (Glen) Brandt. Charlene attended Beloit Memorial High School. She married Ray L. Lowery on September 23, 1961 in Second Congregational Church, Beloit, WI. He predeceased her on May 10, 2017. Charlene was a homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family. She was a gentle, simple, humble woman who enjoyed crocheting, caring for children and her flowers. Survivors include her children; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will also be greatly missed by numerous friends and family members. She was predeceased by her parents, daughter, Corinnia Rae Lowery in 1964, sister, son-in-law and brother. A memorial service for Charlene will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI. Inurnment will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Beloit, WI. Visitation of remembrance will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
