Son of Melvin and Goldie (nee Adkins) Swain. Cremation Burial (by his family). Stone with dates in place. He was married Twice. He is survived by 7 sons ( 2 by 1st wife, 4 by the 2nd wife, and 1 by a 3rd relationship. Three sisters and one brother also survive.
He was an automobile mechanic and worked for West Brothers Shell Station(s) in Columbus, Ohio. He was born and raised on Hammond Creek, Johnson County, Kentucky and attended Meade Memorial High School. He loved sports- played baseball and basketball in his youth. His passion in later life was fishing.
He was part of the construction crew that built the Paintsville Public Swimming Pool in early 1950"s.
He was employed by the Preston Funeral Home prior to moving to Ohio in 1950's.
His favorite car was a Cadillac and liked the color gold.
