Elmer H. Garbrecht, 74, town of Winneconne, was pronounced dead on arrival at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh, Thursday evening.

He was born Sept. 11, 1907, in Oshkosh, the son of Herman and Augusta Garbrecht. He married Dorothy Lipke, May 9, 1938, in Oshkosh.

Mr. Garbrecht was employed at the Oshkosh Filtration Plant for 40 years, retiring in 1969. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Oshkosh.

Surviving are his widow; and three brothers, Earl, Charles and Don, all of Oshkosh.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Grace Lutheran Church, the Rev. Clarence Koepsell officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Marquardt Oregon Street Chapel Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. and at the church Monday from noon until the time of services.
