He was a retired driver for the owner of a Construction Company and a member of Maranatha Fellowship Church in Sugarcreek.
In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by his children: Jeffrey J. (Marlene) Miller of Walnut Creek, Matthew (Anna) Miller of Sugarcreek, Abigail (Mahlon) Stoltzfus of Killbuck and Liz (Dan) Yoder of Sugarcreek; daughter-in-law, Grace Miller of Sugarcreek; 26 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Junior (Twila) Miller of Sugarcreek and Melvin (Betty) Miller of Walnut Creek; and a sister-in-law, Mae Miller of Walnut Creek.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Durlan Miller; his great-grandson, Seth Elliot Miller; a sister and four brothers.
Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Maranatha Fellowship Church, 941 State Route 93, Sugarcreek, with Bishop Paul Leroy Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Church. Arrangements are being handled by the Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
