Carnell Roby Snow, Sr., 91, of Huntington, WV, husband of Kathlyn Holman-Snow, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born September 19, 1927 in Galax, Virginia son of the late Reverend Charles R. Snow and Enola Snow. After 35 years of service, Mr. Snow retired in 1991 from Marshall University serving as Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Carnell “Pete” Snow; a brother, Roger Snow; and a sister, Vera Snow Wright. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of thirty three years, Kathlyn Snow as well as his step children, Doris Johnson Barrow and her children Jack, Jackie, Malinda and Renee; Henry “Tommy” Johnson and his son, Shane; Joan (Earl) Ball and her sons, Tommy, Don and Dorsey; granddaughter, Inga (Marcus) Snow Kennedy and her children, Sean, Kavon, Maia and Laila; grandson, Carnell, III (Ashley) Snow and his sons, Josh, Jeremy and Jarod, and Rodney Hamilton; a very special nephew whom he loved dearly, Robert “Rob” Ferguson; a devoted friend, Drema Winkfield and a daughter-in-law, Elaine Snow; and a host of cousins and friends too numerous to mention. At his request, there will be no services held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
