Niko Akni was considered the gentle giant among the wolves at Wolf Howl Animal Preserve. He was the brother of Nita, Woha, and Chito and his parents were Wa-ta-chee and Ohoyo. He developed testicular cancer and had to be euthanized due to his declining health.
