ACKERMAN JR., "BILL" WILLIAM H., SFC U.S. ARMY Retired, died Saturday, May 27, 2006 of lung cancer. He was born on April 22, 1930 in Ware, MA and is survived by his wife, Lydia and son, Martin. Bill served his country for 26 years in the United States Army, a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a true patriot, the military was his life. He was a member of VFW Post 2093, VFW District 18 Honor Guard, and the American Legion, Post 19. Visitation will be May 30, 2006, from 6-8PM at BALDWIN-FAIRCHILD FUNERAL HOME, Goldenrod Chapel, 7520 Aloma Avenue, Winter Park. A full military funeral will be held May 31, 10AM at Glen Haven Memorial
