On August 25, 1978, she married the love of her life, Nathaniel Aaron. She united with New Bethel Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Rev. John A. Toney. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family meant everything to her and she ruled with an iron fist.
Irisha was preceded in death by her father, Tom Lovett; mother, Dorothy Malcom; three brothers, Jonathan Lovett, Oliver Joe (Scott) Smith, and Tom E. Lovett and two sisters, Doris Clayton and Tara Lovett.
Irisha leaves to cherish her memories and feisty spirit: her loving husband of 40 years, Nathaniel “Catfish” Aaron; two sons, Demetrius Aaron (Monique) and Delvin Aaron all of El Dorado, Arkansas; one bonus son, Marco Aaron (Shaquana) of Lillie, Louisiana and one bonus daughter, Karen Johnson (Ted) of Conway, Arkansas; nine grandchildren who will deeply miss her love and support, Darnarius, Camryn, Nyla, Daylon, Jayden, Alexis, Tremell, O’Marion, and Shaquita. She also leaves behind three brothers, Clifton Lovett (Inez) of El Dorado, Arkansas, Jake Boone III (Christina) of Strong, Arkansas and Dimitrius Lovett of Lorain, Ohio; four sisters, Francine Williams and Jacquelline Holmes both of El Dorado, Arkansas; Cheryl Taylor and Valerie Lovett, both of Lorain, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Sims Mortuary. Homegoing celebration will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at New Bethel Baptist Church in El Dorado with Rev. Dr. Bobby Patterson, eulogist.
