Gary Lee Yingling, age 58, of Baltimore, MD, died on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs.

Born May 28, 1960 in Salinas, CA, he was the son of Robert LeRoy Yingling and Iola Maxine Hunt Guertner both of Salinas, CA.

He was a Godly man. Gary served honorably in the United States Navy, where he was a member of the Presidential Honor Guard. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Florida State. Gary worked as a peer support specialist for homeless veterans with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Baltimore. Gary was a profound example and council to many that suffered from depression and addiction. He enjoyed collecting antiques, reading, renovating properties, tennis, being a gym rat, and had a passion for religion. Brother Gabriel Francis Yingling n/OSJD was studying at Holy Trinity Institute for Theology and Ministry.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Alan Yingling of Richmond, TX, one sister, Debbie Schugg of Pacific Grove, CA, his partner of years, Chris Dombrosky of Baltimore, and several nieces and nephews.

Services and interment in Arlington National Cemetery will be at a later date.
