Gabe Carlos 'G. C.' Ratliff, the son of Robert Ratliff (for whom the Rob Ratliff Cemetery is named) & Dollie Bartley Ratliff, was born April 9, 1929 in Shelby Gap, Pike County, KY. He was the husband of Florene 'Flo' Potter Ratliff (m. February 17, 1951) and together they had 7 children. G. C. also served in Korea as a Private, First Class in the Army. He lived in Shelby Gap, KY his entire life and died at his home on Anderson Branch in Shelby Gap, KY.

The headstone lists G. C. & Flo's wedding anniversary as 1950, but the marriage license states it is 1951.

A paved road leads right to the cemetery. G.C.'s grave is next to the parking area. Very clean cemetery.
