Born in Newark, Mr. Wilbur lived in Pequannock since 1964. He was a field manager for IBM in Paramus from 1957 until retiring in 1988.
Mr. Wilbur served in the Army from 1950 to 1952. He was a past member of the Newark Alumni Chorus.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy (Lynch); a son, Kenneth; grandchildren, Patrick and Allison; brother, Arthur, and sister, Grace. Ray was very meticulous with all he did - his train set in the basement and all the scenery, Christmas trees perfectly decorated and tremendous talent of very fine counted cross stitch. He loved pea soup and turkey legs. A good friend to all and missed by his family and friends.
