Pearl first married John E. Greene (1872 - 1916) on 5 Jan 1896 in Marion County, Georgia. To this union, seven children were born:
Cecil C. , Ima Vire, Hazel Leona, Hoke Smith, Frances Kathryn, Mary Lee, and Wylie Luie.

After John's death (on 2 Oct 1916 in Tift Co., GA), she married Robert Lee Alexander, the widower of her sister, Katie, on 23 Feb 1918 in Tift County, Georgia. To this union, Sibylene was born.

Richardson, Mrs. Frances K. Cooper of Woodbridge, Va.; Mrs. Mary L. Andrews of Columbus, Ga., and Mrs. Sibyl A. Gattis of Charleston, S.C. She also is survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Tacoma Funeral Home, 254 Carroll st. n. w. Services at the Church of Christ, 16th and Decatur sts. n. w., on Wednesday, April 28 at 2 p.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery."
