Daughter of the late Frank and Mattie Oglesby. she was the widow of Walter Lindsey Garrett. Additionally, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Alisha Rogers, a grandson, Shawn Rogers, and by three sisters. She was survived by a son, Scott Garrett (Audrey); a daughter, Suzie Vines (Dennis); nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends. Her funeral was held on August 30, 2019, with Pastor Mike Stanley officiating.
