Mrs. Della Mae Wills, 81, of Lawson, MO, died January 3, 2002, at the Liberty Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 7, at Prichard Chapel, Excelsior Springs, MO. Della Mae Wills, 81, Lawson, Mo., died on Thursday, January 3, 2002, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Mo.
Mrs. Wills was born on December 12, 1920, in Clay County, the daughter of Wilamena and Clifton Potter. She was a member of Salem Christian Union Church north of Excelsior Springs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Wills, in February 1994; one brother, Buddy Potter; and two sisters, LaVeta Dooley and Joyce Hendricks.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Barnes, Kearney, and Michael Eugene Wills, Steamboat Springs, Colo; one daughter, Janice Durbin, Excelsior Springs; two sisters, Erma Jean Hendricks, Excelsior Springs, and Cliftina Endsley, Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 7, at Prichard Chapel in Excelsior Springs; burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
