Raymond E. 'Bud' Sinnett, 80, of New Franklin, passed away December 28, 2009.

He called Akron and Parkersburg, W. Va. his home living in both throughout his life. Ray was a member of the Teamsters, retired from Cole & Sons Trucking, and was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed collecting classic cars.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Clifford and grandsons, Clayton and Scott, Ray is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Ellen; daughters, Judy (Bill) Gwynne, Janie Remington, Tanya (Tom) Gregory and Tammie (Rob) Cramer; son, Bryan (Kim) Sinnett; sister, Virginia Banfield; brother, Robert Sinnett; grandchildren, Robin, Kelly, Ellen, Ashley, Jonathan, Matthew, Cory, Robbie, Cole, Cassidy; 12 great-grandchildren; and his loving dog Crystal. He will be missed dearly by many.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on January 1, 2010 with funeral service immediately following at 7 p.m. at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road (Route 619 in Green), with Reverend Jack A. Kozak officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Life Banc Organ & Tissue Donation, 20600 Chagrin Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44122.
