Mr. Bulat was a veteran having served in the US Army. He retired from management at Sterling Converting, Inc., a paper manufacturer specializing in medical products.
John's wife of 51 years, Patricia Mary Bulat, and his brother Francis Xavier Bulat preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter Carol Powers and her husband Stephen of Goose Creek; son John J. Bulat and his wife Connie of Cibolo, TX; and two grandchildren: Stephen and Michael Powers.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Thursday June 28, 2007 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd., (Hwy 52), Goose Creek. Graveside services with military honors will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2007 (time to be announced) at Bound Brook Cemetery, Bound Brook, NJ.
