Nelda N. “Dean” Duckworth age 75 of Sweetwater went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2019 surrounded by her family.
She was of the Baptist faith. Nelda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a blessing to everyone that knew her. If she thought you were in need of something, she would give it to you. She worked as a caregiver.
Nelda is preceded in death by her parents; Bill and Edna Gennoe. Sisters; Wanda McKeele and Wilma Gennoe. Brothers; LeRoy, Wallace and Condon Gennoe. Grandson; Josh Duckworth.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years; Gene Duckworth.
Daughter and son-in-law; Tammy Runyon and husband Nathan.
Sons; Mike Duckworth and Scott Duckworth, all of Sweetwater.
Granddaughters; A very special granddaughter who helped take care of her; Samantha Runyon. Amy Papageorge, Brandy Bovard and Mandy Chandler.
Grandson; Devin Duckworth and Logan Duckworth.
Brother and sister-in-law; R. E. Gennoe and wife Sue.
