Deborah Lee Cash was the mother of three children. Her life was never easy, from childhood until the day she died. She had her first child at 15 with a man who did not stay long enough to meet his son. She had two more children with another man who divorced her only a year after the birth of her third child, left her for another woman and never paid child support. Deborah battled with alcoholism her entire life. She lost custody of her children in 1979, and her own mother took care of them so they did not have to enter foster care. From here, Deborah had a lot of ups and downs. Even when she was doing better, she never had more than one child in her custody at a time. She spent all of the 80's moving from state to state for new jobs. Eventually, in the year 1992, she settled in Wichita, KS, to be near her best friend. Shortly after her move, she met Tony Cash, the man she would fall in love with, marry, and grow old with. She treated her new stepchildren and grandchildren with the same love she gave to her own children and grandchildren. By the year 1995, all three of her children and her mother also moved to Wichita to be with her. Deborah put all of her love into her grandchildren, her way of making it up to her own children for the unstable childhoods. In the year 2010, Deborah recovered from her alcoholism, choosing her family over alcohol. Sadly, in the year 2013 she discovered that she had lung cancer. She would battle for a year and a half before cancer took her life in January 2015. To this day, Deborah is loved and missed greatly by many.
