Robert Oliver Godfrey Sr., 62, Windsor, Mo., formerly of this area, died March 15, 1994, at a hospital in Mesa, Ariz. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Wyman Cemetery, Rueter, Mo. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Highland Park Chapel, Kansas City, Kan. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association. Mr. Godfrey was born in Kansas City and lived in Kansas City, Kan., before he moved to Windsor in 1986. He was a boiler-room foreman for the Colt Industries Division of the Fairbanks-Morse Co., retiring in 1974. He was a member of Local 4991 of the United Steelworkers union. He was a member of the Central Auto Racing Boosters. Survivors include his wife, Delores Wyman Godfrey of the home; four sons, Robert Oliver Godfrey Jr. and James Donald Godfrey of Denver, Paul Wayne Godfrey, Windsor, and John Ron Godfrey, Crane, Mo.; six daughters, Patricia K. Gardner, Roeland Park, Delores Bratton, Kansas City, Kan., Lou Ann Kindley and Jean Laurie Taylor of Reeds Spring, Mo., Francis Joy Webb, Mesa, and Tammy Elaine Back, Windsor; two brothers, Jimmy Ray Godfrey, Warner Robins, Ga., and Donald Boone, Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Betty Cummings, Kansas City, and Nancy Beatty , Kansas City, Kan.; 36 grandchildren; and 17 great-grand- children.
