Anthony was born August 17, 1979 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of John M. Akers Jr. and Mona Sue (Shreck) Akers of Piketon, Ohio.
Also surviving are his loving ex-wife, of Waverly, two sons, both of Piketon, a granddaughter, two brothers, a sister and husband of Lucasville, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Anthony was a concrete worker.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2020 at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Lucasville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Boyer Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
