Ruth Elvira Brueggeman , 86, of Fort Thomas, died Thursday at Highlands of Fort Thomas Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and a member of Mary Queen of Heaven Church, Erlanger. Her husband, Larry Joseph Brueggeman, died in 1977. Survivors include daughters, Donna Hahn of Hebron and Jo Anne Perkins of Nicholasville; sisters, Thelma Hehman of Fort Thomas, Anna Lee Steidle of Edgewood, Ursula Lancaster of Fort Mitchell, Mary Connor of Wilder, Vera Lonnemann of Erlanger and Juanita Grome of Covington; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mary Queen of Heaven Church. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence, and burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.
