Brittany LaQuay Ambush of Flint Hill Road, Adamstown, MD was called to be with the Lord on June 24, 2020. Born on June 29, 1987, she was a graduate of Frederick High School.

Brittany received her statewide Phlebotomy certificate and worked as a Phlebotomist Technician with Columbia Memorial Health Hospital in New York. Brittany was a devoted and loving mother to her five children; she enjoyed spending time and holidays with her family. She lived a life full of fun, laughter and hearty living. Everyone who knew Brittany would remark on her ability to bring life and laughter to any situation. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

Brittany leaves behind: her five children, Anthony Ferguson, Jamyah Ferguson, Javion Ferguson, Lei’asiah Ferguson, and Kairi Gumbs; mother, Felicia Fisher; father, Marvin Ambush; three sisters. T’Keyah Ambush, Kemani Jones and Marla Shell; brother, Leonard Morris, Jr.; grandfather, Charles Fisher; grandmother, Rosaline “Suzie” Ingram; four aunts, Nettie Ambush, Sheila Ambush, Diane Ambush, and Chrissy Fisher; three uncles, Bernard Ambush Sr., Travis Fisher and Donald Weedon; long-term partner, Dwayne Gumbs; numerous nieces and nephews; and devoted friends, Jamara Jackson, Ursula Simon, Ciara Anderson, and Tresa Crampton. Brittany was preceded in death by her: grandparents, Joseph and Veronica Ingram, Bernard “Lil Bits” Ambush, and Nettie Lyles Ambush; and great grandmother, Altie Fisher.
