Loving uncle of Mariah and Sasha. Beloved grandson of the late Joseph and Marie Calcagno. Fond great nephew of Natalie Kozlowski. Cherished nephew of Gina Carley, the late Carmen (Jim) Holohan, Donald (Kay) Miller, Denise Miller, the late Ronald (Barbara) Miller and the late Diane Miller. Loving cousin of Brigitte (Angelo Tosado) Balice, Scott Lorenzen, Heather Ewen and Kevin Holohan. Joe will be greatly missed by his loving "Band of Brothers." Joe was a major fan of the White Sox and New Orleans Saints. Proud longtime member of the Screen Actors Guild best known for his role as Salami Sam in the 1995 Disney Movie, "Heavy Weights". Visitation Friday, January 12, 2018 from 3 until 9 PM at the M J Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago. Funeral Service Saturday 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations graciously given, will be donated to Norwood Park Youth Baseball Association Cremation Private.∼Joseph Wayne Miller was an actor who played Jerry in Folks! (1992) and Sam Salami In Heavyweights (1995). He died in his sleep in January of 2018. His mother revealed that he suffered from Sleep Apnea.
