GLADYS MADDOX 1942-2007
Gladys Maddox, 65, of Junction City, died Saturday at her residence.
Born OCT. 26, 1942, in Liberty, she was the daughter of the late Albert Cochran. She was retired from Matsushita, a member of Shelby Baptist Church and Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Dewey and Etta Cochran; and her husband, Freeman Maddox.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mike Douglas of Junction City; a brother, Bobby Woodrum, and a sister, Barbara Woodrum, both of Liberty; and a granddaughter, Sarah Douglas.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home, Moreland, by Bro. Paul McFarland, Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery, Danville.
Pallbearers will be Gary Cochran, Scott Galloway, Robert Horn, Randy Mad dox, Wendell Jessee, Danny Lynn and Dan McCarter. Honorary pallbearers will be R.C. Davis, Cordelia Reed, Jackie McCarter, Geneva Shows, Audie Maddox, Jeannie Jessee, Shirley Johnson and Tammy Smith.
Visitation will be 5-9 Wednesday.
