"Percy T. Zercher, seventy-five, 480 Manor St., Columbia, died at his home yesterday at 4:55 p.m. after a lingering illness. Born in Columbia, a son of the late Henry A. and Marcella Duck Zercher, he was a retired iron worker and was a member of the Shawnee Fire Co. Surviving are three children, Henry R., Elizabeth, wife of John Sampson, and Catherine, wife of Henry A. Hess, all of Columbia; also 22 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Samuel Grove, West Chester."
