William Austin Carlton, 80, of Harrison

William Austin Carlton, aged 80, of Harrison died Tuesday, July 19, at his home.

He was born Nov. 15, 1896, in Harrison, the son of William Austin and Nannie Ingram Carlton.

He was a lifelong resident of Boone County. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Elmwood Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at Christeson's Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Anderson and the Rev. Jess Matlock officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Christeson's.

Pallbearers will be A. Y. Carlton, G. Carlton, J. Carlton, G. Harp, R. Branch, and T. Carlton.
