Sylvania – Arlington Edward West, age 81, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012, at Optim Medical Center-Jenkins in Millen. He was born in East Jewett, NY, was a retired dairy farmer and retired from the Cattlemen’s Assn. He was a member of Bay Branch Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp. He also was a former municipal judge, former fireman and enjoyed restoring tractors. He was preceded in death by his Daughter: Linda West; Parents: Gilbert & Edith Brandt West.
Survivors: Wife: Nancy Sharon Brinson West of Sylvania; Daughter and Son-In-Law: Barbara & Norman Eugene Rosier of Varville, SC; Step-Daughters and Son-In-Law: Tammy Strange of Augusta and Teresa S. & David Oglesby of Midville, GA; Son: Daniel Harlan West of Ulmer, SC; Grandchildren: Heath Bartlett, Heather Houston, Amanda West, Vanessa West and Andrew Rosier; Step-Grandchildren: Ryan Mauney and Zane Oglesby; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services: Sunday, December 23, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Bay Branch Baptist Church with Rev. David Wiggins officiating. Burial at Bay Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. He will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
