GRANBURY - Doris Mahaney of Granbury, a retired saleswoman, died Saturday at a Granbury hospital after an extended illness. She was 66. Funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery near Walnut Springs.
Mrs. Mahaney was born in the Willow Springs community near Walnut Springs and was raised and educated in Walnut Springs. She lived in Fort Worth for 35 years before moving to Granbury. Mrs. Mahaney was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors: Two sons, Mike Mahaney of Benbrook and Mark Mahaney of Mansfield; five sisters, Athelle Newbrough of Granbury, Modelle Clowers of Bedford, Ernestine Gilbreath of Walnut Springs, Sue Ward of Joshua and Lucy Damron of Lewisville; brother, Reece Damron of Granbury; and two grandchildren.
